Ok, on popular demand from the pictures topic, here's Dragonfly's fuzz.

This pcb is for NOS parts, so if you use standard parts, you'll have lots of room to work in. (if you use NOS, I put the trannies the wrong way round, so you have to bend the middle leg in between the other two to the opposite side. I already etched and soldered mine, so I didn't feel like 'correcting' that.)

Here's the soundsample again.

Edit: mine has a 2N3566 instead of the 45 one. Don't know if this will make a difference.

You squeezed it into a 1590A - you insane fool!  :icon_mrgreen:

Well this... this is just silly... this can't fit in a 1590B... can it? And you're not even using SMD you mad man!

Its a cool sounding, nicely tuned FF circuit...the transistors definitely help give it a bit more unique tone. If you cant find the recommended ones, try to find low gain silicons like 2N3903, 2N2369, etc.

Glad you're liking it, and GREAT work on the layout Valoosj !

Thanks. Kinda stupid that the trannies are the other way round. I'm gonna try it right now, see if it works.
And thank you for creating this one ;) as well as sending me the parts.

Where can you get those funky-looking resistors? :)

I have no idea.

I found them at the local surplus place...they had a big box of different values. I didnt feel like sorting them out while I was at the store, so I just bought the whole box. It had those, a bunch of carbon comps, some metal films, and some caps in the box. Lots of good stuff !  :)

I just boxed this sucker, it sounds good, but when in bypass I get this static like when your tv doesn't receive any channels anymore. Very strange. It's not hum like I said in the picture topic. I checked the switch, it seems fine. Any idea's D?
This static is gone when I put it in mild fuzz.
