I'd like to make a simple -15V power supply.  Looking at the ggg regulated power supply project http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/pdf/ggg_reg_power_supply.pdf, would I modify this by connecting the bridge rectifier the opposite way round, orienting the caps the opposite way round, and using a 7915?  Or am I missing something?

I've just made a 9 volt version off that schematic.By the sounds of it I did it like you intend to and it works great. Thanks to GGG for the layout.

Sure, just remember the 7915 has a different pinout to the positive regulators.
I find anything from a 14V AC to a 18V AC transformer works fine for the 7915. I'd advise using at least a 25V filter cap, i use 35V myself.
By the way, if you are buying a 7915, I personally think it is worth getting a LM7915 (National Semiconductor). There are some cheap & shoddy regs around today, unfortunately.

Thanks for the replies.  I'll give it a try.
