Talent Booster pedal idea

Hey all,
I want to make some pedals as gifts for my friends, and have it be a kinda "once in a while, bad sound" type of thing, a la Tim Escobedo's "LoFo Mofo."  I plan on having some good low-fi stuff in there, like a variable highpass on the input, telephone type sound, variable positive feedback for howls, etc.

My question is, what are some good names for the controls?  I think I'm going to call the on/off switch "Suck" or "Talent Off" switch, but I need ideas for the other controls.  Something along the lines of goofy, self-mocking type of things.

Any responses welcome, and this won't be used for commercial purposes.  By me anyway.

That reminded me of this...

There are 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Exactly!  That's pretty much where I got the inspiration for the naming scheme.  Ah, the Far Side...  ;D

i would give the knobs/switches names like

tony orlando

kid rock

cheez whiz

joey buttafuco

etc.

Okay yeah, I can see my buddies going for a "Kid Rock" knob.  Maybe a Limp Bizkit knob as well.  But I don't know if I could get Buttafuco to fit on there.  I do most of my labeling with a sharpie.  :)

I was also thinking something like "missed rehearsal" or "amateur" or "sounds good except sober"

My biggest problem is coming up with labels along these lines which will also fit on a small enclosure, around Hammond BB sized.

i ilke the idea of knob names in honour of  people or groups known for their contributions to the topic of "is this good?"hows-about Yoko, Shags or even an entire genre: "jazz fusion". (don't intend to offend anyone. i actually really like and admire Yoko and most of her oeuvre. not down with the jazz fusion though, go ahead and be offended).

All excellent ideas, thanks.  I don't even know where to begin!

For one of my amp builds I labeled the controls (see if you can guess what's what)
Sane   Insane   Hell     Balls     Glass    Ouch    Yikes

Some new ones I've been thinking about, this would be for a "Rock Star" pedal... or maybe a "Guitar Hero" pedal  :D

olcircuits, where is the unobtainium review from?
There seems to be an article headded "lolpedals" on the reverse (I used the flip function in my image viewer to find this out) but couldn't see the magazine name.

haha too long for a pedal but "wrong era of retro you have no marketable qualities and the A&R guy who was behind you just got fired excuse me while I empty my own desk we just merged with that huge label who has all the top 40 stars hope your car is warm and roomy you'll be living in it in no time don't call me I sure as hell will never call you"

Off the sarcastic naming, why not give it a twist,

picturing a degrader, white noiser effect, i thought of early days of radio and media..

maybe knobs labeled: Edisson, Bell, Marconi ..would give it a fairly stylish vibe  ;D
