I was messing around on the breadboard and came up with this monstrosity. May your ears be fearful.

Its a volume pot pitch controlled oscillating guitar fuzz !

Unfortunately it wont "shut up" ! If I can get it more "controllable" then I might have something !

maybe it shuts up entirely if you build it on anything else instead of breadboard :p

Dragonfly, maybe you are seeking a way of shuting up the fuzz, that does't involve gating? that would be actually interesting

When I built "the many faces of fuzz" from RoG and Folkurban, I was able to get some similar volume knob-controlled oscillations at certain settings. But nothing that extreme.

Good job on the tone, it's actually pretty pleasing to the ear most of the time.

Where this pedal would shine is with a momentary switch. Hold it down and you have an outburst of crazy oscillation, but as soon as you let up on it it goes back to normal.

Or maybe a foot controlled pot that rocks back and forth between osc. and no osc?
