RustDriver Question

I am thinking of building the HAO Rustdriver from MarkM's modded layout.

The cap at C3 is listed as a .012uF. Small Bear does not stock that value, the closest they come is .01 or .015.

Would I be okay with either of these?

Also I saw a post where Ulysses had built this using 1N4148 diodes in place of the 1SS119 that are called for on the layout.

Again, Small Bear does not stock the 1SS119 so I was going to use the 1N4148 unless someone has a better suggestion of a diode that Small Bear stocks.

i don't know about the diodes but either one of the cap values should be fine...

R1 and R4 in that layout appears to be unconnected at one end... is it me?

They are connected. The trace comes back towards the body of the resistor, so it's kinda hidden under it.

DOH! Horrible eyes on my part.  Shoulda known ... it was Mark's layout after all!  Didnt get much sleep last night, and this hot chocolate isnt cutting it like espresso would.
