Fuzz Face w/ a variable input capacitor?

has it been done yet? if not, ill let you know how it goes! i play barefoot so i can dial in my knobs while im eating the mic and a rotary would be really annoying.

  EZ Face W/Input Blend Control [introduces passive loss...]
 or Try two caps in series, uh...one say .22uf [with switched jumper] and a .047uf where the input cap is shown, alter values from there.
 Or try to separate input cap paths [via SpDt switch] for separate input caps.
 Or get a multi-way switch...

I did one that's turned out to be my 2nd favourite pedal.
Very versatile sound.
I used a blend pot which I adapted to short at one end, so it takes one cap completely out of the path when fully clockwise.
