Hi, first post here, need your help!

I have a rangemaster clone, called Mr Sparkle, built by Richard Molnar.

It has a problem when activating the pedal it makes a loud pop,
the loudness dependant the level of the pedal (nothing when turned down, really loud when turned up).

I have cleaned all jacks, checked all solder joints, tried adding pull down resistors but to no avail, I havent checked for leaking caps, don't have the correct meter.

However, I'm not sure that it isnt a dc related problem as the dc supply goes straight to the 3pdt without any filtering, btw I'm running it off of a battery.

These pics show the circuit, hopefully you can make some sense of them.

Hope you can help.

Cheers,

Brad

the DC goes to the 3pdt? well if the foot switch is turning the power on/off then that should be your problem.

Thought as much, so what's the easy fix in your opinion?
