EA Tremolo question about caps

Hey all,
I'm building an EA Tremolo with the ROG layout. http://runoffgroove.com/eatremolo.html
I am missing the two  .47 caps so I have socketed where they will go. I have a couple of .47 electrolytic caps laying around. Can I use them to test the circuit? If so, How would I arrange them for the correct polarity?

It's worth a try, but odds are it won't work for long. You do have parts on order, right?

Thanks R.G. I was going to try and trade for a couple. I left them out of a huge order I received last week. D'oh How would I figure out the polarity of the caps? I'd hate to fry anything and may just wait for the right ones.
