LF353N and mpf102/j201 in phase 45?

3 simple questions really...

can i use 2 LF353N chips in phase 45 with jc maillet mods? (univibed)

also, can i substitute the 2N5458 with J201 or MPF102?

and what's the zener for?

Hi
1. LF = yes, I think so
2. 2N5458 is more like an MPF102, so use that if possible
3. The 4.7 V zener provides the (approximately) half-supply voltage bias to the TL072 op-amps and a fixed bias to the JFETs.  In the Phase 45 the bias voltage has to be fixed so that the JFET bias doesn't change with battery voltage.
