So I built a Range Master using this layout
http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/jpm83s-Gallery/album176/Eyelet/Rangemaster+eyelet.png.html
I had a GGG PCB but found it easier to do on perfboard using the eylet board layout.

So I used a OC44 transister and it sounds great but I was thinking I would like it to be more of a  full range boost then just treble. What can I change to make that happen?

Also I really like the feel and tone of the OC44! What other pedals use them or can use them?

The input cap is where the mojo is.....put a few different values on a rotary switch and you'll love it.
This pedal is so easy and sounds soooo good.

I heard the input cap is good to change things around. Never thought of a rotary! :icon_cool:

Also you could try this:
In parallel with the stock input cap add a 100k-250k pot and a series cap of the same size or twice. When the pot is at min you have a bigger input cap, more bass; when the pot is at max only the stock cap, less bass.

Yes, a 2 pole rotary switch with even just 5 or 6 positions for the input cap will make your Rangemaster 10x more versatile. :D

This sounds like a great idea! I can't get my noob mind around it though. Can you explain exactaly what I would need to do in noob terms. ;D

Locate the input cap. Solder two wires at both ends.
Take one wire, solder one leg of a 4.7nf (472 or 0.0047uf) cap to the wire.
Looking the pot from above and with the lugs pointing to the north, solder the other wire to the right lug.
Connect  the new cap and the center lug of the pot.
