EHX electric mistress power supply polarity

I have an old electric mistress with the power wiring all disconnected. the owner is going to buy a new EHX power supply for it.

here's the problem: it has the original minijack power connection. but to rewire it i have to know what is + on those power supplies. tip or sleeve?

The tip is positive.  Make sure you get the correct supply.  The older units are 18v and the later ones were 9v.

Disregard my earlier reply as I missed the part about the mini-jack connector.   I believe that on the old european EH stuff the tip was negative.  The new AC adapters have negative tips as well, IIRC.
