Very nice! Those two pedals sound great together. Cool chops, too!

Pushtone

I think your Dr Boogie sounds better than mine.
Mine has a seriously bright high end.

Did you do the value scaling for the tone stack as discussed in Gaussmarkov's thread?

Sounds and looks great! I love the cool knob layout on the DB.

It's time to buy a gun. That's what I've been thinking.
Maybe I can afford one, if I do a little less drinking. - Fred Eaglesmith

yes pushtone, i did scale down the TS..but i added a 10nF cap to ground to tame the highs when connected to a guitar preamp..works great..

Perfect tone. Please would you tell where exactly have you placed the 10nF cap.And how does you raw/modern/vintage switch works.
I woud be delighted if you share with us you modes, please :)

dschwartz

the 10nf cap is placed on the outer lugs of the volume control...

the vitange/raw/modern switch alters the bypass cap of the first stage..vintage=no cap, raw= .47uF, modern=2.2uF

Thanks for the quick answer :)
Excuse me  but i`m not so educated in electronics  so i`m not sure if i understood you right:
I must connect the wire from the switch(modern/vintage/raw) to the source of the first transistor, right?
Thank you once more for the good attitude and the good will to help.People like you make the world a better place!

BTW soon I`ll post my layout of my new pcb for Dr Boogie - the difference is that the pots and connectors are mounted on the pcb
I also use Millenium bypass but the pcb has no problems with it .It has so few cabels in it, that it has no oscilations and hiss at all.
But soon :)
