Hi everyone,

I am planning on building a Small Clone-clone based off the excellent Tonepad PDF thats available. However I would like to try using SAD1024's instead of the MN3007's simply because I have a couple of them kicking around being unused at the moment.

Anyway, I was comparing the differences between the SAD1024 and MN3007 versions of the pedal, and noticed that the SAD version of the Small Clone has a couple extra diodes in the circuit (see schematic below for differences)... My question is, are these extra diodes just more 1N914's? or are they something different?

Also, if I were to do the stereo mod from the Tonepad schematic as well, I assume the pedal would function as a regular Small Clone if it were hooked up to just one amp (mono), is that correct?

Any thoughts/help would be appreciated, thanks.
