Good guess!  I should have mentioned that it's a Thor.  It sounds pretty good at lower gain.  I haven't taken it to practice yet to try it out at full volume with my Marshall rig.  That will be the real test.

What tecnique?  It's a color laser print on plain paper that then gets spray glued to the box and gets about 20 coats of clear spray paint.  As long as I can be patient and wait for it to fully dry before I start putting everything together they turn out pretty nice looking and durrable.

I'm a little confused on the policy of posting the names of pedals and other web sites.  This was a project I did with a fifth grade kid at the school I work at.  I made the circuit boards and we did the rest together, each making our own pedals.  His soldering was a little shakey and he suffered a little attention deficiency now and then, especially when gathering all the parts and checking all their values, but it came out pretty cool and he has a totally usable diy pedal.
