I've searched "cv7112" here and looked through the first page of hits.
I've googled oc140 datasheet Sometimes I find a datasheet right away and somtimes I get nowhere.
I'm hoping a patient person who might have used these before will help me
-----------------------------------
I have a couple of the npn germs Aron sold. I suppose I should use them for something. A long time ago I threw one in (socketed)  a working but incomplete FF and it worked. Then I tried the Si, later put it in again (I think backwards) and it did not work anymore.   I just don't want to screw up the last two that I have.
-----------------------
I am unsure of the pinout.

Anyone got a data sheet or a pic that shows the pinout? Dot is either C or E then what?

Thanks

some body wrote that the OC203 data sheet is similar but Si - would that help?

Looked again  . . . maybe I'll use one in a "parked wah" like
(and they work either with the dotted lead as C, or as E)(cool, huh?...)  Hmm I'm not sure that is helpful

Try to search for OC140 instead.

It has been discussed whether the red dot was C or E, but someone  (Aron?) wrote that the OC140 (or cv7112) is symmetrical but with different gain depending on how you turn it.

Maybe someone can elaborate.

I have mostly used mine for boosters. I have build a couple of Rangeblasters (NPN rangemaster) and even used one in Gus Smalleys NPN boost.
