500k log potentiometer which watts?

Im building a dallas arbiter fuzz face and im getting ready to buy the pots, but im not sure which wattage to use. They come in 1/2 watt and 1/4 watt or 1/8 watt. Does it make a difference which wattage I use?

Its for a 500k log potentiometer.

Most pots are 1/2W.

Most pedal builders are more concerned about the pot's size. 16mm, 24mm etc...
