Hello,

After building BSIAB2 from GGG (and loving it...) i found the schematic of SWEET 16...it seems to me to be very close to the schematic of BSIAB...but with more gain...am i right?

So, for my curiosity, where i can find some clips of SWEET 16?

Thx a lot!

I haven't built the BSIAB's, but from my experiments, it appears the major difference in sound is due to the Tone Stack.  The Sweet16 has a big notch in the response.  Sounds really cool, if that is what your after.  IIRC there is additional gain, asymmetry and bass thru the 2 Mu-Amp stages as well.   :icon_cool:

Thx for your answer...i want something with a punchy tone...something like BIASB, but with much distortion :)

A midrange scoop can remove punchiness by reducing the frequencies where a lot of the dynamics are produced IMHO.  Try moding your BSIAB with the Sweet 16 values for the Mu-Amps to increase distortion.   Also use the J201 or J202 Jfets if you using the lower gain ones.  :icon_cool:
