Just built a RangeMaster using some parts I got from Dragonfly and used R.G.'s terminal strip tutorial. Sounds amazing. Didn't even have to use trim pots to tune it, came in 7.1v right out of the gate. Just waiting on my cream Chicken Head knob from SmallBear. Thanks Andy and RG.

Thanks Andy!! Don't sweat the knob, you've done more than enough!!! BTW, I noticed you linked my soundclips on your site for the SE7EN Fuzz. I'm honored!!!!!! :icon_redface:

That looks terrific Tony, one question though!
Did you use the bourns pot (conductive plastic if I'm not mistaken ) to get rid of the scratching sound when you turn it ?
I thought this noisy sound was due to DC on the pot ??

No, I used it just to have a pedal with all high quality parts. It does still scratch when moved but that's the nature of this pedal.

Nice clean work!

Wow! Beautiful... simply beautiful!  :o

If I may ask, what enclosure did you use for that one?

tungngruv

I got it from a forum member here as a trade. It's from www.Smallbearelec.com.

An unfished box is around 8.00, powder coated (yellow in this case) is about 1.00 more. Do the math, right? I bought another immediately after this one came in the mail for a point to point Fuzz.

Thanks Joe. You forgot that I saw your point to point Easy Face. Mine look's pretty sloppy compared to that, but thanks anyway.    :icon_wink:

BTW Joe, check your PM, I think I have something you maybe can use.

frank_p

A break from pcb, it's good to see it.  Neat !

km-r

what tranny is that?

i really liked my rangemaster with NOS mitsubishi 2SB170 Ge!!
Look at it this way- everyone rags on air guitar here because everyone can play guitar.  If we were on a lawn mower forum, air guitar would be okay and they would ridicule air mowing.
