Insanity Box or Double D

Guys,
I do have spare box and DPDT and all parts both for these 2 project. But what would you suggest
Except for Insanity Box I got lot of cd4069 inverter but no cd4049 can I use cd4069 on it?

Just checking before I answer- the Double D uses a 4049...

As far as what I suggest- what do you want? I've got a DD I built for ease of portability where I'm only taking a guitar, a little amp, and one or two pedals.

There's a few projects with 4049s in them- a search here will find a list or two.

Which of the two scream more and lot of squeal Judging on the clip I heard is this both distortion?
I think both uses CD4049 isn't? Can I substitute CD4069? I got lot of it co'z I bought several 4069 to match the needed pair to run my MXR Envelop Filter
