Can an EH Micro Synth be modded to do this?

I have a Boss PS-5 pitch shifter.  You can set it to one octave up and use an expression pedal to add or take away the octave.  You can either leave the source signal in when the octave is up, or you can have transition to all octave up.  I'm currently controlling this with a momentary switch; so when I step on it, the original tone ramps up into the octave.

Could the Micro Synth be modded so that, through a momentary switch, you could add the octave up like this?

I'm not too familiar with it, but I believe the micro synth has one slider that adds the octave up, correct?  If so, I'd think it would be a matter of adding a switch that shorts the slider pot the be fully "on" or "up".  Although I don't know how, or if it's even possible, to do the ramp up thing.  You could always mod it so that the octave slider is controlled via expression pedal though.

Yeah, I'd thought about the exp pedal.  I guess I'll consider that if the momentary won't work.
