Found a pedal casing for my Fuzz with expression

Howdy guys, check this beast out:



It's an old XVO-4 4 channel Morley volume pedal that a buddy of mine gave me because roofing tar got dripped all over it (I'm gonna get some tar remover this weekend and get it all cleaned up). I'm going to build my fuzz factory clone into this and put a slide pot in for whichever knob I feel I want to use the expression for (probably 'stab' to control the self oscillation note).

Now, I do have a question. What size slide pot does this look like to you? 30mm?

My only response to this...   it takes a real DIYer to be playing guitar AND roofing their house at the same time!

My vote is for the 'comp' or 'gain' controls.  Then you can make those wild siren sounds a la zvex 'fuzz probe'

I don't know the answer of your question, but I totally dig your project.  I would put in a 3PDT/DPDT to swich between different pots; that way you could have the pedal control the comp or gain, depending on your mood.

I may have to get one of those XVO-4s!
