Germaniun Transistors

I have a pair of Small Bear"s Germ Trans 2n1305's and I lost the suggested resistor values Steve provided. Is there some kind of testiung I can do to find them for myslef? I hate to see these trans go to waste (or at least not optimally used.)

you have to build the circuit, test the voltages at the transistors, then adjust bias w/ trimpots accordingly
