I came across 2 oscilloscopes at antique store today. Both looked like they were in OK condition, the one that was plugged in did turn on and the line reacted to various knob turns. They only wanted $25. Am I crazy to leave them there?

It came form an estate sale where the guy was big into CB radio's so they had a few of those as well. I was thinking about scavenging but I'm not sure there would be a lot worth the hassle.

If you got a trace on it, I would go for it-you can beat it for $25. I am using an old heathkit unit from the '50's that my father built & gave me- he was in the TV repair business. I can't tell you how many times it came in handy for troubleshooting.. worth it's weight in gold.
What brands are they?
