I'd like to move some internal trimpots to the outside of the pedal, more or less in the way as Fulltone does with the Distortion Pro.  I never had the chance to look at one, but does anyone know which type of mini pots and knobs he uses?  Are they just some type of trimmers, or are they the 9mm pots that Smallbear has with some sort of mini knob on them?  The Blackstone Appliances Mosfet Overdrive also has something similar (those are the 9mm pots with a little "hat" on them - don't know where to find these "hats" though).

At Mouser, alpha 9mm PCB mount potentiometers.  They have horizontal and vertical mount versions.  Those are a neat way to go for less crucial controls.

Not sure if this is what is being referred to, but you can get (Alps make them) 9mm pots that have a shaft with a knurled section at the end of the shaft. So you don't need a knob at all, you just turn the shaft, but the shaft is easy to turn, because of the ribbing.
