Hot Potz II question...

hi !
I'm having some difficulties soldering a Hot Potz II, maybe I'm doing something wrong but it seems that I just can't get the solder stick to the pot lugs...any hint?

These are a pain to get to stick to.
Here's what I do:
Strip the wires long enough so that you can actually wrap them around each post at least one full turn.
Then, wrap them securely around each post so that they can somewhat hang there by themselves while unsoldered.
Then, go ahead and apply solder to the posts and wires.
