How to convert a switchcraft style in/output into wiring Marshall style ones..?

On the Marshall types I don't know which is tip/ring/ground...Currently building a basic clean boost.

On the input jack:
the tip goes to the switch, the ring goes to the battery connector, and the sleeve goes to ground.

on the output jack, tip goes to the switch, and sleeve goes to ground.

With the Marshall sytle Cliff/ReAn/Neutriks jacks, they are _usually_ set up (from the chassis inwards):

Sleeve, Ring, Tip.

Use the continuity setting on your meter to verify this.

Great thanks! Will try that in a bit :) How would I go on with testing it though..? I have no way of accessing the actual plg when it's in the input...

EDIT: I'm really stupid... I'll use the other end of the cable. Wow I'm sad.

Ok LED lights up when I stomp, but there is no sound when in bypass nor when in boost.

And I'm not using a battery clip.

AH found it. First look inside... I had wired the switching side (I think...) of the output. So continuity didn't test out. Reversed the plug, rewired it et voila. Except the volume pot works backwards even though I followed the schematics.. :s

AAAAND It lives. Rewired the switch (diagram had it from the top, usually it's from the bottom, again, stupid me). It's a bit noisy at big gain settings but it works just fine and does what it says! Thanks guys :)
