i just got my ProCo Brat in and the lovely crap switch was malfunctioning. i tried swapping it out for a 2PDT from my dead muff but, to get if to switch over i'd have to click it twice. so either the there is something special about the original or my replacement switch is junk? i just tried a new blue 3PDT and got the same result, double click. is there something about fet switching that i need to know or is it in the switch? rylan

p.s.- i'm looking for a schematic so if you know where one is... thanks.

I don't know the pedal but it seems to me you may need a momentary switch........???

since it doesn't actually make that "click" sound you're probably right. wish i had thought a bit harder. thanks, rylan

Yeah, maybe it's a momentary just 'flipping' a flip-flop.

If you track down any momentaries the same size as a blue 3pdt let me know - I need one for a build.

u can try wiring both sides of the swtich the same so that it's switching between the same set of connections. ( hope that makes sense) That way maybe the instant it takes to switch will be enough of a "moment" to make it switch. I have no idea if it will work, but I guess it's worth a shot.

i think i'm just gonna trace it out and get rid of the fet switching unless i can figure out a way to stick a led in there. i'm not sure what i'm gonna do with this pedal yet. thanks for the suggestion though. actually i just reread your idea and i'll have to give it a try.  rylan
