Increasing rate on Tremulus Lune?

I just successfully built up a sweet sounding Tremulus Lune tremolo, but I would like to get a bit faster rate. Is there a magic cap that sets the fastest that the LFO can go?

Really great sounding trem, by the way.

If you're using the Tonepad schematic there's a 100uF cap in the LFO section. Play with that one. I believe reducing it will give you more speed, but it will also increase the slowest speed.

You could replace the 100u cap with a 47u, and have another 47u switchable in parallel with it using a SPST switch - label it 'range'.

If you just want a bit of extra speed the easiest thing to do is make R10 on the Commonsound schematic smaller. That will make the fastest speed faster without really affecting the slower speeds. If you want the whole thing to be faster, which means you'll lose the slower speeds then make C6 smaller.

Thank you all, my genius friends!

I replaced R10 with a 1K and it did exactly what I wanted. At first I tried a 510Ω and the rate got too fast for the LDR. With the 1K it was just right.
