I want to Rehouse a Boss OD-3 - Can you help me?

Hi, I have a OD-3 that I really like alot.  I did a few mod's on it and love the tone.  Anyways, I was thinking of rehousing it in a hammond style box and doing a nice paint job.  Can anyone tell me what I need to do?  I know the off\on switch will have to be changed.  Can you tell me what to purchase and how to wire it?  Also, the power supply I am planning not to drill the hole for it, but to just tuck it inside the new box and use a battery only.  Any other thoughts, ideas or considerations?

There are some posts on how to true bypass boss pedals. Do a search. The boss circuit boards have traces right up to the edge and are just a little too long for the typical hammond 1590 enclosure, so keep that in mind, too.

Pedal Parts Plus has pre-drilled enclosures that are cheap and will save you a bunch of time.
