Has anyone tried this switch or the stomp version for switching between the Dynacomp or Ross compressors? Opinions?

It is a good mod to add.
The switch is better then the stomp, because unless you want to add another LED to the stomp, you wont be able to tell which position it is in.

I've always wondered why a 4pdt has to be used for this mod- All of the caps connect to ground; why can you just leave the 'non grounded' side connected to the circuit, connect all of the grounded ends together, and use an spst to connect them to ground, or leave them disconnected?  4pdt is overkill it seems.

What would the middle lug be connected to?
If your saying all the negative ends of the caps to one outside lug, then nothing on the other outside lug.
Then wires coming from the middle lug to 4 different locations on the board?
That seems like it would work to me.  Just hard fitting all that on one switch possibly, but I dont see why it wouldnt work in theory.

the other lug would connect them to ground; basically you've got 4 caps running to ground- once you disconnect them from ground, it's sort-of like they're not even there.  And since they're all connecting to the same place, you can connect them all with one switch.  Unless I'm SERIOUSLY overlooking something.
