I've been using Gator Cases' G-BUS 8 (http://www.gatorcases.com/productsdetail.aspx?LID=18&PID=171) power supplies for a year or so, and the only thing I don't like about them is that the power supply patch cords are straight -- not right angle. So, I want to make a few RA cables, but I'm not sure about the 1/8 tip I need to go into the main power supply.

If I'm looking right, the right angle plug I need is this one:

What about the 1/8 plug that goes into the supply? It just looks like a 1/8 mono plug like you see on just about everything (headphones, etc.).

yeah its just a standard 1/8" jack. Wouldnt you just cut the straight plugs off and solder right angle ones on? I would check to make sure the inner contact diameter is correct because there are a few different diameters available.

I don't want to "destroy" my stock cables -- just make some right angle cords for certain pedals.

What's the best sure-fire way to determine insert diameter? Just buy a few plugs and test?

I would poke a 2.1mm rod or tooth pick in the ones that you have now just to make sure the ones you buy are the same.
