Grounding problem I think.

I think I have a grounding problem, but I'm not really sure. I built a rangemaster, and out of the box it sounded great. I have boxed it all up (also changed dpdt switch to 3pdt +led), and it doesn't really work. It doesn't work when I put the back on the pedal, and I have to sort of push it around a little to get it to work. Also when I touch the box it will stop working or start working sometimes. The LED always turns on when it should. What should I try doing to get it working properly? (also I have no solder left, used it all finishing this pedal off. I had to nickel and dime like 3 inches to do a dozen connections =P)

Thanks.

Run insulation all around the points that look like they could possibly touch.
I like the hard clear plastic that comes as the 'no-theft packaging', that requires endangering yourself when working to get your goods out free of it.
Thin, clear, hard, insulative...works for me.
Just overlap good electrical tape on the cleaned bottom insulates ok, not hard as I'd like but seems to be working, I double up or put a square of the sheet in a place where it looks like the circuit could dig through.
but I like to make 2 sides and a bottom, using paper template to perfect the shape, then cut the plastic sheet and bend/fit it in.
But is better when it works better to have the board mounted solidly and free of stray connections.

Convention creates following, following creates convention.

AH ok I made it so the back of the board couldn't touch anything else, and it works fine now thanks =].

The only thing now is that when the pedal is on my amp is more fizzy and every once in a while I get a little interference with something. Is this normal? Is the fizz just louder because the booster makes it louder and adds a bit more distortion? And the interference, is that normal. I am in a room with alot of electronics though.

Never mind I sorted it out Thanks alot =]
