Line out=Line in?

I've been thinking about how to access the two separate power amps in a Roland Jazz Chorus amp without Line inputs. It does have stereo line outputs, though.

Without the schematic for the amp I'm messing with (both a JC-77 and a JC-120H head) is the line output as good as knowing where the power amp inputs are? Meaning, is it safe to assume that the line out tap is coming from the same place in the circuit that is feeding the power amps?

It is possible that the line outputs are conditioned and buffered in such a way that they are electrically separated from the power amp but I'm hoping that it's just a matter of snooping.
