4pdt switch for choosing dyna or Ross compressor question

Im wanting to do this mod but I have a few questions. !st question is - Does the 4pdt switch have to be an on/off or an on/on according to this http://www.tonepad.com/getFile.asp?id=24 ? Or can it be this? http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=709

Next question-How would this be wired? I assume each of the 4 rows of three lugs would act as though they were each spdt switching in and out ca/b/c/d ? And the the middle lug would be tied to ground along with the other rows middle lugs going to ground?
