I've been trying to find some threads about it using the search function, but no luck...  maybe it's my bad English 
Anyway, how do you guys attach your perfboards in your enclosures?  I'm sure there are several ways to do it, as I have thought of a couple different ones myself, but I'd like to hear everyone's preferences.  I find it quite interesting that there is not more "talk" about this subject.

no offense taken.  So standoffs is what they are called?  Sorry, I just didn't know what I should be searching for.  I tried "perfboard attachment enclosure", but, as you can imagine, I didn't get anything good  .

Anything else I can use that I can get at, let's say, Lowe's?

I just found another thread where someone said something about velcro.
I think that's THE idea!!!
Hmmm.... won't it loosen up though after a while?  Especially if you stomp quite a bit?

nope. you are never actually stomping the velcro. the insides of a pedal sustain little to no shock unless you stomp hard enough to flip the pedal into the air. if so, do yourself a favor and stop playing, just hang up the guitar....

If it suits the board and layout, I use double-sided foam tape and attach the the board to the back of the pots.

I'm sure this is horrible stomp box-making, but I don't usually bother. I find that things fit better if I allow the solder side of the board face down, with electrical tape covering the bottom of the enclosure. Haven't run into too many problems so far. I don't move them much or stomp all that hard. Things seem to fit into smaller enclosures this way, and the wires point out of the board into the knobs, etc.

If you have those enclosures that have the ridges on the insides, then if the board is small enough, you just cut it out to the size of the inside and slot it in. Works well, just watch out the edges - if you have any traces there, it may be wise to use some insulating tape.

They mean the kind with foam sandwiched between two pieces of tape. Like the 3m double-sided sticky squares.

Exactly! You can have it in square pad that you cut, tiny precut rectangle or in roll like this one...

just kidding...personnaly, any 1$ store will do the job...and you can buy some 1$ lecture lamp and scavage the led or use it for lighting you pedalboard...

i'm new at this too, and not having found the info on the forum i decided to directly attach the board to the switch, so it doesn't move and it's easy to work with... i'm not sure it's the best solution, but that's what i've done in the 3 messy boxes i've made so far

Major externals (switch and sockets) mounted on-board, so the board is held in place in 3 pretty strong places.

I'm not that heavy, and treat my gear nicely - it should last quite a while...

I'll try the tape probably.

I was originally going to Gorilla-glue screws into the enclosure, put'em through the holes in the perf, then use nuts to secure everything.
