So, whats you favorite method?

So, whats you favorite method of securing your PCB's inside your enclosures?
I've just ordered some board mounted pots (90 degree ones).
I figure that will hold the board well enough as long as you handle it gingerly. But who the hell handles there peddles so lightly?
I though maybe some silicon from the board to the box, but I don't really like that idea.
And as for standoffs, what about those. I have a ton of standoffs but they are not the kind with a sticky base.
Are those preferred?
Or is there something better?

I know I should have searched, but I'm in the processing of buying/ordering from Small Bear, Mouser, looking for various info on other forums, all at the same time and I'm on dialup (ugh)
