Blue Clipper mods?

I'd like to add some kind of dirt control to the BC I already built from the layout here:

What size/value pot would make a good  bias (like turning down the guitar volume before the signal hits the board), OR, could I wire a distortion control like on a DOD 250 by modding my already working board?  That second option seems a bit harder.

What do you think?  The fuzz sounds good already, just a bit too heady!

The Blue Clipper is essentially a Distortion+ or DOD250 without a drive control.  Any mod that would be suitable for a Dist+/250 would have the same general role in a Blue Clipper.  You can start here: http://www.runoffgroove.com/newclipper.html
