Fuzz (tone) or Fuzz (Face) ?

Which is your favourite?

The Fuzz face style?
Fuzz Face, Tonebender MkII, many more, ...

or the Fuzz Tone style?
Maestro, Tonebender MkI, ...

The only thing I will contribute is the simple fact that if you misbias a FFace (bias, mid, ...) you can come pretty close to a FTone.
So I guess a Face is more flexible.

A FF with an external bias pot is very versatile, but given the simplicity of the Maestro and TB MKI I´d build them too.
The 3 versions of TB have togheter all the fuzz you need.

I like fat med gain Ge fuzz with a touch of ring mod or octave up.
