Hi All,

I am looking to order a bunch of parts to have on hand when I really get into building pedals. What would be a good starter parts list? Radio Shack has such a sucky collection of parts, they are expensive, and the staff has no clue.

Thank you,

Don

check the wiki I know there is a page or two dedicated stocking your bench.
I would recommend you spend a few hours reading up on the differences in electronic parts.
If your completely new to electronics I would also suggest you pick a book and read it from cover to cover. In the end I think its the best way to start. You need to take in everything from one source then you will have a solid foundation to work from.
Class A booster , Dod 250 , Jfet booster, Optical Tremolo, Little Gem 2,  mosfet boost, Super fuzz , ESP stand alone spring reverb red Llama omni-drive , splitter blender ,

NEVER use gorilla glue for guitar repairs! It's Titebond , Elmers, or Superglue

But he doesnt just sell the parts alone. It has to be bought with the board.  But still a great kit.
To those about to rock, we salute you.

Ask him. Maybe he would. And the board + parts is a great way to start.

I'm actually in the process of building a website with one of it's main target audiences intended to be people asking exactly the questions that you're asking now. I'm hoping with time to build up quite an extensive beginners zone once up and running. Never know it may come to late for you but either way keep your eyes out because I'll post on this forum when I'm ready to launch it.
