OVD problem

I once built Markm's OVD and it sounded extremely well.

Some day it started crackling and gradually the signal started to fade out till it muted completely.

If i leave the pedal disconnected from the 9V supply or battery for some time, it kinda wakes up and it works a little right after i reconnect the power.

The sound is farty and gated and it gets worse (fartier and super gated) with time tilll it stops again.

I replaced the chip, but nothing happened. I replaced one of the 10uF electros, but still nothing. I guess i need to replace something else in there...

For reference, i'll post the pin voltages.

The supply voltage is @ 9.01V

1_ 1.44V
2_ 1.38V
3_ 1.41V
4_ 0V
5_ 3.7V
6_ 3.7V
7_ 3.7V
8_ 9.01V

the Shottky diode drops the supply voltage at approx. 0.18V

The bias Voltage is at 3.62V

Any ideas what might be the problem?   ???

I don't know if it might help, but this is the bias voltage network:

...have i done something wrong?

it worked fine (really well i might say...)

It's a perfboard build.

My guess is a electro cap is dead... you may have reversed the polarity of your input power or just exceeded the caps voltage rating.

Look for caps that are slightly bulging at the top.

The only electro i used in this project has already been replaced, to no avail.

I used some tants copying M.Fuller's idea, but not everywhere as he does in his OCD.

I guess i'll start replacing them to see what happens.

any other tips?   :-\
