Need an on/off switch pedal for my Boss RRV10 micro rack unit. Is it just a channel switching pedal?

If not, anyone got a schematic that will work? Just has a 1/4" jack input on the back.

Thanks guys.

I would look for info from Boss or Reviews of this product, perhaps theres even a manual online.

I've had luck [caveat emptor] shorting these kinds of jacks, especially the mono ones are easy [2 conductor]. Stereo jacks can be used to accept stereo plug, the sleeve generally connecting ground to the tip, and to the ring, depending on if the switch 'says yes or no' to each.
IOWords it is probably a short to ground makes a switch connection [independant of the ground/open switch circuit] happen for each parameter.
I say 'probably' because I'm not exactly familiar with this unit, if it is a switching pedal it helps further support this probability.
I guess if there's a category for this in 'effect reviews' at HC, a few minutes reading would ferret out the answer, that or find the Boss remote switch unit that is the RV10 accessory, then figure out what makes that tick.

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem. I want to build an on/off switch with led for my rrv-10. Does anyone have a simple drawing of some kind to show me exact how to connect everything (absolute beginner)?

Thanks for your time!
