I built this circuit yesterday. It sounds pretty good but I have one question. I omitted C5 because I couldn't find anything close to the specified value of 10 pF. What does that cap do anyway? Is it to get rid of radio signals in the circuit? Thats the only thing I can think of. Can I leave it out of my pedal?  :icon_question:  ;D

Yupp, it shunts high frequencies to ground [very high ones 10pf...small cap], includes radio frequencies, I suppose it won't be noticed.

You can leave it out if you aren't having any problems with radio interference. I always get RFI problems, specially where I live, so I always add an RF cap in my builds.

It doesn't have to be 10pf.  I think anything under 300pf or so will work the same.

Thanks to all. I'm not hearing any radio stations so I think I'll just leave it out. I appreciate your input!
