It's by Jhonen Vasquez - I can't quite remember which comic that little guy comes from, most likely Fillerbunny.

is this the same as the sam ash, or are there some different values in there somewhere?

the same :)

its a circuit that can sound good with the right transistors, or bad with the wrong ones...so experiment a bit ! Also, the tone control isnt great...but i kept it "true" to the original.

There are a couple versions of the Sam Ash floating around though, with slight variations. Not sure how much difference they make though. I haven't tried this one yet. Next time I'm struck down with "Tommy Bolin-itis" I'll give it shot.

Is a Post Toastee a cure for "Tommy Bolin-itis"?

I always thought the cure was shakin' the devil. Always worked for me anyway...

May I suggest starting the day off with a tasty, nutritious bowl of Post Toastees so your ready to shake the devil with your Savannah Woman, (or is that The Grind)?

Take care!

The Big Muff tone suck works well with this one.
