Ibanez WH10 wah mods & Qs ?

Hi,
I put the WH10 on my breadboard, using Dirk Hendrik's schematic (thx for sharing  ). The single pot version that is.
Are there any mods I should try before I put the whole thing together ? I have only one IC at home. Do they make any difference in this circuit ?
The guitar / bass switch works fine, but I'm not hearing that much of a difference with the depth pot. What action should this pot have to the sound ?
