How can i obtain +/- 15V from a 9V wallwart?

I want to build an effect that use +/-15V obtained from a 40V supply.
It's possible to get +/-15V from a 9V wallwart?

Perhaps use a charge pump to double the 9v and then a voltage divider?

Anyway, which is the lowest voltages from which i can obtain easy +/-15V?

If you use regulator chips you can look the data sheets what they need for input. Perhaps you can do with +/- 8, 9, 10 or 12 volts or get another transformer
