Hello
I am putting a Volume pot in my new Nano Bassballs and just wanted to make sure this would work.  I have searched and found this:

What I did was add a very simple Volume control at the end of the circuit. I used a 100K Reverse Audio pot. I took the wire from the PCB out (that goes to the 3PDT Return) and soldered it to lug 3. Lug 2 goes to the 3PDT switch where the wire from the PCB went and lug 1 goes to ground. I hope that makes sense. Now I can turn it down when the Dwell is down and back up again if I turn the Dwell up.

now everything is board mounted and I am thinking I could put the Pot between the switch and the output jack instead of mentioned above: between the board and switch.

Shouldn't make any difference, right?  I will be able to see which lug of the 3PDT is connect to the output jack with my meter and just cut that wire and follow the directions as stated.

I added a bad pix of the guts: http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y229/stompboxsteve2112/?action=view&current=Nanobassballs.jpg

Just wanted to make sure before I changed anything.  Much Thanks, Steve

If you put it between the output jack and the switch, you lose your true-bypass AND the pot will affect your clean signal's volume.

do you have any idea which of the lugs I would need to "jump in on"? based on the picture I linked before?
or how I would determine which one?  I have a old schematic but not sure how that has changed with the Nano line?
I already killed an older bassballs with these mods but wanted to smaller footprint of the Nano.

any direction is appreciated, Steve

Is the switch soldered onto the board or attached to it with wires? If it is the last, you can add a volume control between the board and switch.

Here's a pic.  I took mine apart, traced it out, and scanned the switch board.
