Maybe Ron will know, what pedal is this board from? Seems similar to an electric mistress but no delay chips.

The giveaway is the 4013.  If that wasn't one of the many different issues of the Octave Multiplexer, I'd be very surprised.

On the other hand, it never ceases to amaze me how many E-H boxes there that came and went so quickly that I never heard of them.  I mean, how many folks here have ever seen an EHX Sonic Boomer, Hot Foot, Vocoder, Solid-State reverb, or rackmount guitar synth in the flesh?

Do I win a prize? :icon_biggrin:

You're correct. It's an Octave Multiplexer.
I've got all those units you mentioned plus a lot of other rare and oddball stuff.

Your prize is $150.  To claim it, you need to first send me a certain effect. :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol:

Duly noted. :icon_wink:

Do me a favour and get your government to make their dollar worth more, relative to ours. :icon_lol:

While I realize there are some apprehensions about doing so, if only because people worry about theft and the insurance implications, a number of folks here have some amazing pedal collections that really need to be shown off in a youtube video.  Posted pics just don't do justive to many of these things.  There are certainly plenty of demo videos of current in-production pedals, but substantially less of the oddball stuff from years gone by.

I'm still waiting for the 6-DVD boxed set tour through Les Paul's basement. (And no, it doesn't exist.....but it ought to!).

Hmm.  Maybe it would be worth having folks here post links to good demos of the rare and exotic.  Kind of like the Tonefrenzy page, except that it would be video, instead of only audio, you'd get to see the correspondance between settings and tone, and the burden would be shared rather than dumped in the lap of a single website.  Runoffgroove has a nice assortment of clone soundfiles, but it'd be neat to see the real deal.  Particularly for folks who live in places where they are unlikely to have a well-stocked vintage shop or ever see/know local players who use that gear.

I was going to say that it's amazing what you can do in Paint!!

Looks like the Octave Multiplexer it is!!!! Was hoping for something more interesting.

Demos with inside shots of old pedals would be cool, maybe we can do that once I get the effectsmuseum.com site up with some content.

THANKS!!

not to derail the thread Ron, but Bill Stultz (in martinsville) mentioned you were down here the other day - next time you are around here let me know and I'll take you out to lunch! :)
