Is it possible to mod a dd-6 to increase the amount of loop time it has?  I know the new dd-7 has 40 seconds, and was wondering if it might be possible to get a little more out of the dd-6

It uses a proprietary computer chip for processing the delays, so you cannot modify how it works. There is a super long delay time option that uses the B output, check the manual for more info.

It doesn't effect the hold time unfortunately.  That is what I was hoping I could increase on it.

Hi , I was seaching for the same thing. I also use my dd-6 to practice leads with and 5 seconds is just barely enough most of the time. There must be a way to increase the memory for more time in the loop. I didn't realize the dd-7 had 40 second memory.  With 40 seconds i could fit a whole song in the loop or even a 12 bar blues run!
