actually i got this thing cracking up like 3 months ago...but it just sitting at the corner of my room collecting dust...

a classic problem...hum...no,i didn't use dc adapter here..just a single 9v battery...i also have read hum article at AMZ,and follow it suggestions(resistor in series with input,cap to ground) but the result is nothing...not to mention that when i add larger cap or resistor value,it does reduce the hum,but also change the tone drastically...or maybe i should find a better opamp? TL071 is a noisy ic?

too bad that i like it harmonics,anybody could help?
