just ended the obsidian - has some problem

i've just finished my obsidian
ok so the problem is that
i need to hit the strings strong to get a full sound
unless, i get a hursh sound

i've used bs 170 , i used 3 trimmers to bias, and changed the elec caps back to get negative ground

well, i biased all the bs 170 to 4.5
the gate voltage is 1.5
the source on the 1'st and the 2nd is 0.8
while the 3rd mosfet gives 3.5 as the drain
i checked shorts and things and nothing

the mosfet was not soldered in his side
